This pie graph illustrates the relative incidence of primary hepatic tumors from an autopsy series. The important concept to appreciate is that HCC is by far the most common malignancy, especially in patients with cirrhosis. Cholangiocarcinoma and fibrolamellar carcinoma are the second and third most common lesions encountered.
